ecommerce design ui uxHigh stakes eCommerce is a very ruthless matter, were inactivity and late decision making will mostly land you in a hard place, therefore constant improvement of current techniques is not only wanted but necessary, with this mindset I worked in fictional improvement project based in our current webshops(mostly food delivery related) and using the feedback from the franchisers I developed a series of plugins for promos and upsales, together with a better dashboard.
Promos
A good promotion historical data, and overview could bring insight into your customers changing habits.
The result of the Challenge is then logged to the API and the relevant results are forwarded to the involved relevant parties.
Dashboard
This custom dashboard show you the most important data, such total sales and turnover, but it also goes deeper into client engagement and product overview.
In product overview you get a table with best and worst products over a specified period of time, that way the manager can profit, investigate or adapt. for example if you see what's your best sold product for this week, you can investigate what is your competitors price directly from the dashboard, and perhaps you could raise your price some, to improve your margin while still being cheaper when the product is hot in the shelves.
